Kat's Fuzzy Friends Shelter

Kat shows up between Ramon's and Felix's stalls on the top level of the bazaar once you reach bazaar Rank 2 (Village Bazaar). She wants to set up a shelter for unwanted animals, but she has lost some of her own!

SoS! Runaway Birds!: Kat doesn't require materials to set up her bazaar booth. What she needs is someone to track down three wayward chickens that have run off to explore Zephyr Town. Head back to town and you'll find the birds by the blue windmill bridge, by the waterfall near Lloyd's house, and near the front door of Felix's house. Return and talk to Kat after you have found her three missing chickens.

Kat's purpose is to remove unwanted animals from your farm for free. Essentially, you're donating the animals into the void, never to be seen again. She'll accept as many animals as you want to discard, both livestock and pets. Kat will even take your horse if you wanted to buy another horse of a different color from Ramon.

There is no negative friendship hit for donating excess animals to Kat, but there's no way to retrieve the animal in case you change your mind.
