Arata and Diana

Remember, you must first 1) get married to someone other than Arata/Diana, 2) seen their 6-Heart events, and 3) told them both to "Go for it!" when prompted for romance advice.

Diana is busy with paperwork when Arata walks up and lets her know he has finished moving the boxes as requested. She turns around and notices Arata's dirty clothes; were the boxes filthy? Arata explains his appearance is because he slept outside in the mountains yesterday, though he did rinse himself off before returning to town.

Diana is more concerned about hygiene than appearance and asks Arata to change his clothes every day. Arata explains that doing laundry would have caused him to be late. Diana counters by telling him the solution would be to wear different clothes. Harold steps in and tries to stick up for Arata, as anything he wore would have become dirty anyway. Diana is unswayed in her insistence that clothes need to be washed as soon as they become grimy.

Well, at least it isn't as bad as going hungry! Arata explains that while a person could collapse when starved, dirty clothes don't result in any physical harm. Diana's frustrations with Arata's bumpkin-style reasoning even alarm Harold.

Arata finally acknowledges Diana's social norms and says he'll work to improve. Harold is impressed with the martial artist's optimism, which goes over Arata's head. He's just glad to be able to help out!

A large shipment of supplies has arrived at the bazaar grounds. Diana needs to move the boxes, but it'll be tough on her own. She's up for the challenge and calculates how she can move two boxes at a time. It's still a daunting task, though.

Arata appears and asks what she's up to. Despite Diana's cold response, Arata detects that there is something amiss. He looks over the giant pile of boxes and realizes that Diana is trying to move the crates on her own. Diana admits that it is her intention and is currently working to streamline the process, when Arata begins laughing. How inefficient to do it alone!

He walks over to a pile of stacked boxes and picks up five in a single lift! What a great Plan B! Arata tells Diana she has to carry some too, so she picks up two boxes, and together they work to move the shipment to the proper location.

Once complete, Diana is a bit out of breath. Arata is all smiles. He's just glad he was able to help with her dilemma. Arata reminds Diana that just because she can take on problems on her own, it doesn't mean she should. It is important to ask for help with difficult problems. If she ever gets stuck again, feel free to call on good 'ol pal, Arata. Diana blushes and thanks him for his generosity.

Stuck with a giant pile of paperwork, Diana looks a bit overwhelmed. Arata stops by and notices her document demeanor. Diana tells him it isn't his business, but he continues to poke for more information.

Diana sighs and explains that the Bazaar Review Board plans to transfer her to another town. Her name came up as a potential candidate to help with staffing issues there. Arata doesn't like that idea and tells her to reject the transfer. Even if that other town needs her, Zephyr Town needs her, too! Besides, Arata doesn't want her to leave. The town would be in a tough spot if she were to go.

True, Diana simply wasn't expecting anyone to want her to stay, and yet Arata just came out and said it. Arata tells her to cheer up now that the decision has been made. Let's get something to eat so Diana has the energy to turn down the BRB's offer!

Another massive pile of crates sits before Diana. Instead of trying to tackle the problem all by herself, she asks Arata for assistance. He quickly organizes the crates while Diana handles the boring paperwork.

Soon the whole problem is resolved. Diana thanks Arata for his assistance, right before Harold shows up to help. He heard about the extra-large shipment and stopped by to see if he could lend a hand, but it seems everything has already been taken care of. After hearing his sister's explanation of how Arata already handled the crates, Harold is pleased to hear that she's relying on others for a change. See, there was even this one time when they were kids...

Diana shuts that tale down super quickly and reminds her brother that he should be working on something else. Harold smiles and says he'll leave to give her and Arata some time alone, which just annoys her more.

After he leaves, Arata finds the whole exchange hilarious. Diana turns and asks if it would be all right for her to rely on him in the future. Sure, as long as Diana comes to him first when she has a problem, no matter how small. Diana asks if he is sure about that, as she can be a difficult taskmaster. Arata confirms it's true and tells her that together they'll be the best partners in the whole world.
