Samir is writing a letter to the folks back home. Arata teases him a bit, but Samir asks if Arata ever stays in touch with his family. Arata shrugs it off, replying that no news is good news, after all.
Stuart comes into the room and asks Samir for help. There's a guest downstairs who is from overseas, and their way of speaking is so fast that Stuart can't understand what they're saying. Samir agrees to help Stuart with the guest.
Samir returns to his room to continue the conversation with Arata, but is soon interrupted by Maple. She was handling some accounting, and the numbers aren't adding up for her. As smart as Samir is, Maple was hoping he could take a look at her calculations. Samir heads out with Maple to help her math problem.
Once again, Samir returns to the room to return to the topic at hand. No sooner does he get started back on his letter writing than Sonia walks in. She's asking for help, too! There has been a delivery of juice, and the freight is too heavy for Sonia to carry. She asks if Samir could help her. Arata volunteers to help as well.
Now that the juice task is over, Samir thanks Arata for the assistance. Arata mentions how this place is good for Samir. Back home, nobody would have asked him for help with these types of tasks. Besides, this may be a good opportunity for Samir to also ask for help when he needs it. Samir does need some help. How about figuring out what to write in the letter? Arata accuses Samir of trying to make him write home to his folks, too. Samir does not deny it; that's the idea.
