Arata's Accommodations

Arata, Jules, and Lloyd are chatting in the middle of the pathway. Lloyd is curious as to Arata's secret to his energy levels. The martial artist explains that there is no secret; anyone can achieve these gains if they put the work into it. He offers to give them an explanation right now if they want. Jules is a little cautious about the timing; like, right now right now? Arata tells them they just have to accompany him into the mountains to eat, sleep, and train in the fresh air.

Jules asks how one bathes in the mountains. Arata responds that there are lots of rivers to dip into. Lloyd realizes Arata is taking baths in the wilderness, too. Despite Arata's enthusiasm, both Jules and Lloyd decline his invitation. Besides, Jules has already come to understand Arata's ways a bit better just by talking to him.

Doesn't Arata sleep at the hotel now anyway? Arata clarifies that he's simply sharing a room with Samir as part of his job. Those hotel beds are too soft for his preferences, though having a solid roof and a warm bath is pretty nice! Lloyd notes those, generally, are basic amenities.
