Gabriel is working on his main masterpiece when June and Lloyd stop by for a visit to look at his art. They were talking about art together, and Lloyd argued that art aesthetics change from place to place. June is more skeptical and thinks Lloyd's opinion is mainly about whether art can sell. Gabriel welcomes them to check out his goods and asks if there is anything they want to see first. June and Lloyd said they would look around on their own so as not to bother Gabriel while he's working.

Soon, the two are drawn to a painting Gabriel has in a corner of his studio. Gabriel asks them for their opinion of his art. Lloyd says everything has a local charm that, if he ever left Zephyr Town for his travels, he will stock up on Gabriel's art to sell. As for June, she's more impressed with Gabriel's details regarding color and composition. She learned a lot! Lloyd asks if June was working on any art; no, she replies that she is just studying design. Gabriel would love to see some of June's designs. June declines, as her work is nothing compared to Gabriel's art. Despite even Lloyd's encouragement, June refuses.

Gabriel tells her that art is subjective. There is much to gain by appreciating art created by other artists! June relents and finally agrees to show Gabriel some of her stuff. She thanks Gabriel for letting them browse through his artwork, and would love to hear his opinions on her creations. Lloyd is also curious as to Gabriel's feedback and wants to tag along.
