Sylvia and Laurie have come by to ask Maple a question. They want her advice on what types of gifts they should give to someone they have a romantic interest. Maple's the right gal when it comes to love advice! She suggests that the girls ask the person they're interested in what kinds of things they like. Sounds possible, but the girls aren't sure how to approach that question. Maple thinks for a moment and gives them an example of how and what to say. Once they know what things their sweetheart likes, Maple recommends making the gift. Everyone knows homemade gifts are made with love. The girls are amazed at Maple's knowledge of gift-giving.

Maple asks if they know what their sweetheart's interests are. Sylvia's is into books, while Laurie's like bugs. Those topics are somewhat challenging. The girls are disappointed they don't have a way to make books and bugs, but Maple comes up with a solution. Sylvia can make a bookmark, while Laurie can make a bug-themed embroidery. Those are great ideas! The girls are excited that Maple has the solution to their problem. Maple reminds them that she's available whenever they have any more questions.
