Kevin, Sylvia, and Laurie run up to Diana and ask her what they need to do to become a "cool" grown-up. Diana thinks for a moment, as that could mean a lot of things. Studying is essential, as learning can lead to a lot of opportunities. Knowledge is a powerful tool. The kids become discouraged; none of them are very good at studying.
Diana reminds them that's okay. You can work hard and play hard. Oh yes, the kids are really good at playing! Diana reminds them that the most important part of being a cool adult is taking care of the things that one loves. Kevin understands that, and shows Diana the thing that he loves - a really big bug! Diana is apprehensive of Kevin's little buddy. She tries to handle her fear of insects, but it doesn't work out. Eventually, Diana excuses herself and runs away.
The kids all confirm how cool Diana is. Laurie catches on that Diana might be afraid of bugs. Kevin didn't even notice Diana's reaction; she must be really cool!
