Gabriel's Free Lunch

Derek is working at the cafe when Gabriel walks in, who looks like he is about to collapse! Gabriel explains how he's very hungry and reminds Derek that he promised to buy him lunch if he finished his latest artwork. The artist worked diligently to complete the piece, even skipping breakfast, so that Derek would buy him lunch. Gabriel is starrrvviinnnggg! Derek relents and tells Gabriel to go ahead and take a seat at a table, which perks Gabriel up as though he's no longer starving to death.

Derek goes back into the kitchen and brings Gabriel a plate of curry rice. He devoured it in seconds and asks for more! Okay, Derek can comply with that request and returns to the kitchen for more food.

This time, Mina and Madeleine accompany Derek and the mounds of food to serve Gabriel. The portion size is out of this world! Once again, it only takes a mere moment for the starving artist to eat the entire feast set before him. Then he asks for more! Madeline is amazed at Gabriel's appetite.

Eventually, Gabriel hits his food limit. He thanks Derek for the lunch, as this really got his creative juices flowing. Derek is glad his friend is finally satisfied. After Gabriel leaves, and Madeleine points out that Derek will have to pay for the lunch that he offered Gabriel for free. She points out that Derek might not have any take-home pay for a while to cover the cost of this free lunch.
