Sonia has stopped by the cafe to take a break with a nice cup of tea. While Madeleine prepares the order, Mina tells her she'll go outside to tidy up the shop.

After she exits, Sonia notes how much Mina has grown up. Mina was always a cute child, but is now a stunning young woman. Madeleine chuckles and says her beauty came from her side of the family. More customers come to the cafe when Mina's around, and Madeleien feels blessed that her wonderful granddaughter is around.

Madeleine asks Sonia if the same could be true for Maple. Oh yes, Sonia confirms that Maple makes every day brighter. The two ladies are pleased to have both youngsters around.

Maple and Mina enter the cafe together, unaware that they've been the topic of conversation. Maple has finished her errands and is ready to return to the hotel. Mina tells Maple that before she leaves, she must have a cookie. Maple loves Mina's cookies! They then notice Madeleine and Sonia giggling to themselves, who decline to give a reason why.
