Nadine's Leftovers

The family is about to sit down for dinner when there's a knock on their door. Nadine explains she cooked too much dinner again and asks if Clara would like some of her meal. Perfect timing! They were just getting ready to eat. Nadine shares her home-made gratin with Clara and returns home.

After dinner, Wilbur jokes that maybe Nadine planned to have her perfect gratin included as part of their meal. It was really delicious! There's another knock at the door, and it is Nadine again. This time she made too much dessert. Would they like some pudding? Clara notes that she's given them so much already; surely she doesn't want it? Nadine confirms she baked way too much food. Kevin and Wilbur welcome the incoming dessert.

In that case, how about some cookies and bread? She also baked too many of those. Before Clara can object, Nadine heads back home to retrieve the leftovers. After she leaves, Clara notes that it is the third time this week that Nadine has dropped off extra food at their place. Wilbur doesn't mind, as the fastest way to a person's heart is through their stomach, but Nadine should slow down before she empties her entire refrigerator.
