Jules has the results of the girls' math test. They both received perfect scores! Jules praises Laurie and Sylvia for how hard they worked on learning math. Laurie admits she had fun learning new stuff, while Sylvia tells him that it was less boring this time.

Sylvia reminds Jules of his promise to owe them one request of their choice. Sylvia has a tough time telling Jules what she wants, so she defers to her sister. Laurie tells Jules that she wants to read a new book. He thinks for a moment and tells Laurie that he will pick a good story for her next time they meet.

Sylvia finally gives Jules her request. She wants to know what kind of people Jules likes! Jules pauses a little bit, but a request is a request; he tells Sylvia that he likes someone confident and self-assured. Ah, that's easy! Sylvia replies that she's going to become the most confident person ever! Jules reminds her that building confidence requires a lot of knowledge, so for now, let's focus on math and their other ongoing studies.
