Harold

Harold moves to Zephyr Town with his sister, Diana, after you reach bazaar rank 2 (Village Bazaar). While Diana is there to oversee bazaar development as a representative of the Bazaar Review Board, Harold's job is to manage postal deliveries to and from Zephyr Town. Though he has a family back home that he misses a lot, Harold's dedication to mail-things keeps him in town. He does head home on Saturday, starting around 11:00 am, returning on Sunday night.

(Side note: some time ago, I received a 1980s Western Electric orange wall telephone with phonebook storage and corkboard message board from a relative, who thought it would be a great addition to my '70s-themed office decor. They were decluttering belongings after their step-dad, Harold, passed away. Now hanging on the wall and connected to a cell phone via a Bluetooth adapter, the Harold Phone loudly and proudly rings, and startles the snot out of me, whenever I receive a phone call.)

Favored (Special) Gift: Ultimate Curry. This recipe is the reward for completing Madeleinie's Out of the Extra-Ordinary 8-heart request. To make the meal, combine Supreme Curry, Giant Tomato, Curied Chili Pepper, and Yogurt+. The recipe for Supreme Curry is obtained by winning the Cook-Off on first Monday in Autumn. The chili pepper and tomato are rare crops.

Misplaced Pen

Talk to Harold to learn about a missing pen. He borrowed it from his sister and feels bad for losing it. He believes he might have dropped it while exploring the mountain area. Harold asks that you keep an eye out for the pen.

Go into the mountain area and head to the space where Honey hangs out, just below the sightseeing cliff. Interact with the sparkling spot to pick up Harold's lost item.

Bring it back and he'll give you the Suit & Tie (Black) clothing outfit.

Tea Service

Harold wants to taste some tea brewed from the leaves of your tea plants. He requests you bring him 1 1-Star tea tin. Tea grows during spring, summer, and autumn, so if he gives you this request in winter, you'll have to wait for the following spring. There may be other ways of obtaining tea cans, such as Derek's 5-heart Unlock Request.

Harold will give you 10 Curry Powder in exchange.

Glimpsing a Guardian

Harold's daughter heard a rumor about mystical creatures called Guardian Fish. Now, she keeps asking her dad to see one. Harold asks that you bring him 1 Guardian Fish of any type or star rank. Information on how to catch these high-level fish is on the fishing guide page.

In exchange, he'll give 1 3-star Olive Seedling.
