Mina's Past

Mina is quietly sitting alone, as though she has something on her mind. She gets up and walks over to Madeleine and offers to confess something: the true reason why she moved to Zephyr Town to live with her grandma. Madeleine has always been curious, but she didn't want to poke her nose into Mina's business.

Mina explains that she's been single since the incident with that one guy. Afterward, her parents wouldn't stop bothering Mina to move on and find someone else to be involved with. She became so annoyed with their pestering that she decided to move away and live with Madeleine.

Madeleine thanks Mina for telling her the true reason, though she never needs a reason to spend time with her granddaughter. As long as Mina is happy, then Madeleine is happy. Mina thanks Madeleine for making her feel at home.

(Note: The rumored story goes that Mina was abandoned by her fiancé on her wedding day. You'll see Mina give heart-felt advice about marriage if you propose to Freya. In conversation after your wedding regardless of who you marry, you might see Madeleine reminiscing about how pretty Mina looked in her wedding dress on Mina's wedding day. )
