Maple welcomes Sherene as she enters the hotel and asks her how today's broadcast went. Sherene says everything went well, as expected. She can tell that something is on Maple's mind, though. Maple admits that she's a bit awestruck with Sherene; she's always so glamorous and put together! Maple is amazed that she is even having a conversation with someone as stylish as the radio newscaster.

Maple asks what brought Sherene to Zephyr Town. Sherene tells her that there's something about the breeze that is special. Oh, me too! Sherene is pleased they have something in common. Maple hopes to someday be able to slip cool phrases into conversations like Sherene can, which reminds Sherene about her similar excitement for life when she was Maple's age.

Maple then asks Sherene what the secret to her fabulous scent was. Oh, well, Sherene has a large assortment of perfumes and offers to share some with Maple. The hotel host is excited at the prospect of learning a thing or two from the mini-celebrity. Though Maple hopes to be as elegant as Sherene someday, the newscaster reminds Maple not to lose her natural charm in the process.
