Residing in the northern area of Zephyr Town, Nadine is known as an excellent cook for her family. Her primary task is to keep her family well fed, much to Isaac's dismay. If he considers cutting back on her culinary treats, the guilt trip Isaac receives from his lovely wife crushes any attempt to eat healthier. Deep down, we know he doesn't want to miss out on Nadine's meals anyway. When she isn't busy caring for her family, Nadine likes to socialize with her neighbor, Clara.

Bottled Nuts Wanted

Nadine needs nuts for a dessert she's making. She wants 30 bottled nuts of any star rank. These can be made using the red windmill by combining 1 Walnut or 1 Chestnut. Walnuts are found on your farm under trees during spring, summer, and winter. Chestnuts are along the area edges of your farm or in the mountain area during autumn. It is random how many appear on the ground per day, but there will be more the day after a storm.

Bring her the required bottled nuts to receive the recipe for Fish Cake.

Nadine wants ingredeints to make tempura. Specifically, she wants 5 2-Star ingredients that can be a combination of Shiitake Mushroom, Pumpkin, Eggplant, Sweet Potato, Icefish, or Pond Smelt.

Remarkable Mushrooms

Nadine apologizes for all her requests, but this last one is right up your alley. She wants to make a special dinner with ingredients that are known to be difficult to locate. She asks that you bring her 5 4-Star Monarch Mushrooms. These mushrooms appear on mushroom logs based on the star rank of the planted spores; the higher the star rank, the greater a chance of the Monarch Mushroom sprouting among the spreaded spores. There are no Monarch Mushroom seeds available. Sometimes this fungus can be found wild in the Mountains during autumn next to the jump barrel below the scenic overlook, near the tree north of the entrance, and near the tree by the middle bridge. You'll need to make offerings to Webby to raise the star rank of both wild and log-grown mushrooms.
