Clara lives on the north side of Zephyr town with her family, Wilbur and Kevin. She has a cheery, grandmotherly-like personality as though she could never be angry with anyone. Except for young Kevin, of course. While her son is a fan of all things insect, Clara has a great dislike for them, which results in bug-related shenanigans that Clara doesn't appreciate.
In the original Nintendo DS game, this character's English name was Claire.

The red windmill and blue windmill have pickle recipes, but you'll need 10 Vinegar for each. That can be crafted in the red windmill by processing 1 Rice per vinegar. You can also purchase Vinegar from Felix's stall at the bazaar for 196 G each.
- Red windmill: Pickled Turnip, Potato, Onion, or Radish
- Blue windmill: Pickled Pumpkin, Corn, Cucumber, Eggplant, Red Bell Pepper, or Green Bell Pepper
- Yellow windmill: Pickled everything else (Asparagus, Cauliflower, etc.)
Bring 10 jars of pickles back to Clara to receive the recipe for Pumpkin Soup.

Heartening Mushrooms
Clara wants to make a nice meal for Wilbur, and she needs the right ingredients. She requests you bring her 5 Shitake (1-Star) and 5 Shimeji (1-Star). You can buy the spores from Ronaldo at his bazaar stall once you have reached City Bazaar (Rank 4). These mushroom also grow wild in the Mountains all year long. You will need to donate mushrooms to Webby the Nature Sprite to raise the mushroom quality rank to level 8 (1-star) or greater.
In return, Clara will give you the recipe for Steamed Mushrooms.

All she asks is for a quite dinner, but with Kevin around, mealtime tends to be loud and rambunctious. She wonders if some flowers on the table will help to mellow the atmosphere. Clara asks for 1 3-Star bouquet. You can make these in the red windmill using seasonal, farm-grown flowers.

This fruit tree produces fruit during autumn and winter. You can reach 5-star quality without having to win a Crop Show. Just give the seedling a lot of Fertilize while it is growing to raise its Star Rank; using Fertilizer after the tree is mature will simply increase the quantity of fruit produced at harvest.
Bring her back the red fruit to receive the brewing recipe for Golden Blend Tea. The canned tea can be crafted by attaching a Purple Wonderstone to the yellow windmill, then combining 1 Spring Blend Tea Tin, 1 Summer Blend Tea Tin, 1 Autumn Blend Tea Tin, and 1 Lavender Tea Tin. Those tea tins can also be crafted at the yellow windmill, though they don't require the Purple Wonderstone.
