Miguel
The local general goods store is managed by Miguel, a jolly capitalist who loves to buy and sell merchandise on days the bazaar is not operating. He is competing with his two brothers, Ramon and Felipe, to prove which one is the best merchant and worthy of taking over the family business. His brothers visit Miguel's shop/house on Fridays to discuss trade and prepare for the next day's Saturday market. Though Miguel might be more successful in the city, his admiration for the young waitress next door keeps him steadfast in Zephyr Town.
In the original Nintendo DS game, this character's English name was Raul. His brothers were named Enrique and Diego.

Rival Material?! Not Yet!
Miguel believes that while your sales are good, they could be better. He wants you to earn at least 30,000 G during the bazaar in order to become his retail rival.
Once you reach the profit level, return to Miguel to receive 9 0.5-Star Strawberry Seeds.

Flaws are Forbidden!
Miguel has to acquire materials to fix up his shop and needs your help. He asks that you bring him 1 2-Star Sturdy Stone, 1 2-Star Sturdy Lumber, and 1 2-Star Silver. Sturdy Stone and Sturdy Lumber are crafted using the blue windmill by processing 5 Stone and 5 Lumber. The Silver is from smashing ore rocks around town. Donate items to Ivy the Nature Sprite if you still need to raise your quality of forgeable goods to 2 Stars or greater.
Bring the materials back to Miguel to receive 9 2-Star Watermelon Seeds.

Crops I've Never Seen!
The merchant is curious if you're heard of crops that form unusual shapes. He asks that you bring him 1 rare crop of any star rank. Specifically, Miguel wants a rare crop from Almond, Asparagus, Burdock, Cauliflower, Corn, Cucumber, Melon, or Pineapple. No other rare crops will qualify.
In return he'll give you one Field Sprinkler. You may craft more sprinklers by setting a Purple Wonderstone in the red windmill on your farm to unlock the hidden recipe, then combine 5 Gold ore, 10 Silver ore, 20 Copper ore, and 30 Iron ore.

The Best Bouquet!
Miguel was told by Madeleine that he needs to show Mina how he feels about her. He asks that you bring him 99 5-Star flowers to make her a magnificent bouquet. Yes, it is a lot and may take you some time to collect everything. Use the cellar if you have it to grow the flowers; minus 6 squares for the sprinklers means you can grow 48 flowers in a few days. Remember to apply Fertilizer after the second watering to maximize the boost to star rank. If you don't reach 5 Stars of quality, process what you grew into seeds using the blue windmill and then replant/fertilize again.
Bring him the required flowers to receive the Delicious Vegetable Assortment small decor item for the bazaar booth. This Farmer series item has a Bulk Sale Lv. 3 effect.
