Stuart owns the Sunnywood Hotel along with his little "sunshine," Sonia. He manages the day-to-day operations while Sonia handles guest relations. With the help of their on-site employee, Maple, the inn is a popular place for tourists and out-of-town villagers to reside. Though Stuart misses their son, who moved away to live in another country, having young Maple around helps keep his spirits up.

While trimming the weeds around the hotel, Stuart strained his back. He believes the reason is because he wasn't using his sickle correctly. Stuart asks that you show him how it's done by using your sickle to cut 999 things. The request will say to "use sickle 999", but the task counts the items cut, not each unique swing.

The sickle can be used on on weeds, fodder grass, wild herbs, and flowers. Besides harvesting flowers in your farm fields, check out the weeds that grow in the Equestrian Park area. If you cut the weeds early in the day, they'll reappear after 5:00 pm.

After all the slicing, Stuart will reward you with 9 3-Star Melon Seeds.

Mighty Mayonnaise

Stuart is looking for a nice snack for him and his sunshine. He requests that you bring him 20 5-Star Herb Mayonnaise. This can be crafted using the blue windmill near the hotel by combining 1 Mayonnaise and 1 Herb. A jar of Mayonnaise is crafted at the farm's red windmill by processing 1 chicken egg.

The star rank of the chicken egg is based on the Friendship hearts of your birds, while the star rank of the wild herbs is based on the level of Ivy the Nature Sprite. Raise the herb quality by giving Weeds, ores, and such to Ivy to raise the foraged item level. Taking good care of your chickens will increase egg star rank.

Bring the required Herb Mayo to Stuart to receive 9 5-Star Orange Seedlings.
