Clothes

Inside the farmhouse, you'll find the wardrobe: a tall cabinet where you can change the Main Character Settings, such as selecting the color of your hair and the outfit you wear. You can change your hair color and clothing anytime, but the outfit options are limited to three. A fourth outfit comes via DLC.

Clothing is gender locked. I don't have the boy outfits yet. Check back later!

Regular Clothes

This is the default outfit for the protagonist. It's pretty cozy but not as cool as the white lab coat and mechanical backpack that Doc Jr. wears.

Warm Clothes

This outfit is made at Karl's crafting shop in Zimagrad after the wall protecting the village is destroyed. Karl will request 2 Valais Blacknose Sheep Wool, 5 Jewel Onion, 1 Adamantite, and 100 G. When worn, this outfit will protect you from the cold temperatures in the Zimagrad snowy region and when you're in the desert from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am.

You collected all these materials once before as part of the research into crafting Zimagrad's traditional attire during Zimagrad's story. Basically, you have to do it all over again if you want a set of your traditional clothes.

Cool Clothes

Karl can also make this outfit at his crafting shop in Zimagrad. This option becomes available in his inventory after you have unlocked the 3rd star of Cultural Level with Zimagrad and have completed the Providence story. Karl will request you bring him 3 Sheep Wool, 5 Aquature, 1 Orichalcum, and 100 G. When worn, this outfit will grant heat protection for traveling through the volcano area or exploring the desert during the daytime (6:00 am to 7:00 pm).

Aquature is a crop mutation of Viola when grown during the summer season or in Lilikala, where it's summer all year long. Wisps that carry Viola seeds are uncommon. You can find one directly south of the Breezy Plains farm space, down at the lake's edge with the two small islands in the middle. Another location for Viola is just outside the western edge of Providence, right where the dirt path turns south before entering the village.

When growing Viola, add fertilizer to the plant every day to increase the chance of mutating into Aquature.

The other item you need is Orichalcum. The most accessible place to get this ore is in the volcano after the wall protecting Zimagrad is destroyed. Heims' wall protects the volcano summit until you complete that part of the story. Once you do, travel through the volcano to the summit, where you'll find two Orichalcum Ore nodes. You'll get 1 ore per node, and it takes a few days before the node will reappear. The volcano summit has a warp statue, so you can easily return to smash those two nodes. Luckily, you only need 1 ore for crafting the Cool Clothes.

Take the Raw Orichalcum Ore to any crafter and pay 250 G to process the ore into Orichalcum metal.

(Yes, those are socks with wedge sandals...)

Steampunk Outfit

This outfit is included with the Visitors From Afar DLC, released on October 17, 2023. You have to first complete the Verne Trading Company story and have Zimagrad at the 4th cultural level or higher. Visit Karl at his crafting shop in Zimagrad to order this outfit. He'll require you to bring 2 Valais Blacknose Sheep Wool, 5 Eclipse, and 1 Adamantite.

The flower is a crop mutation of Sunflower when grow in the desert area. Optionally, you can grow the Sunflower in other farm spaces and apply Desert Fertilizer to the seeds.

Raw Adamantite Ore can be found in the Volcano mine starting on floor 25 to floor 49.

The Steampunk Outfit does not have any cold or heat resistance.
