Tree Fruit

Throughout Anthos are groups of trees that produce fruit, free for the taking. You must locate the trees and pick their fruit by selecting the Examine prompt. The fruit can then be shipped for a little bit of money (33 G each), given as gifts, used in cooked meals, or eaten to recover a half-heart of stamina.

Sometimes, picking tree fruit will randomly trigger a hidden Harvest Wisp to appear.

There are 10 varieties of fruit trees. Discovering a new type of fruit will add an entry in the wild items section of the DocPad Encyclopedia. Unfortunately, you can't use the search feature on the world map to locate groves of fruit trees like you can with mushrooms and other wild items. After harvesting, a fruit tree will regrow its fruit every 2 days, up to a maximum of 3 fruit. There is no advantage to waiting for the tree to produce its maximum fruit. Trees produce their fruit all year long.

Fruit does not have star rank or mutations.

All fruit will restore a half-heart of stamina when eaten. You can process tree fruit into cooked meals using the kitchen inside your farmhouse, increasing the stamina hearts recovered when eaten. Coconut and Coffee Beans are common tree fruits that players cook in their kitchen, as the resulting meals (Coconut Milk and Coffee) also have weather protection effects.
