Vivi

Always dreaming for adventure, Vivi wishes she was out exploring the world. When she is in town, she's responsible for keeping eye on the town she co-manages with her brother. She isn't in Providence for long, as she's always preparing for another solo journey around Anthos.

Vivi's Events

• 1-note Event: Walk into the center of town. Vivi explains she just returned from a successful research expedition. She loves discovering new things and wants to talk about her passion for travel with you.
• 2-note Event: Head into Vivi's house. She's glad you've stopped by, as she wants you to tell her all about the places and people you've met while traveling. She likes to hear about other people's experiences. You ask her to tell stories of her travels, too, which sound to be much more dangerous!
• 3-note Event: Walk close to Vivi's house and you'll find Westley instead. He explains his sister is out gathering supplies for her next expedition. He isn't worried about her, as Vivi is an experienced traveler. He used to, but there's no stopping her curiosity! Vivi returns from her preparations. She now has equipment suited for the coldest mountains. Vivi gets the suspicion that you're going to ask her not to go, but you don't.
• 4-note Event: In town, Vivi looks like she's hurt. She admits to slipping on ice when exploring the snowy mountains and hurt her leg. Vivi is already excited for her next journey though! You object to her plan until she decides to stay home for a while. You also suggest that she start inviting other people to go with her. Vivi realizes that could be fun to have more people on the expedition.
• 5-note Event: Vivi has gathered a group of villagers and just completed a one-night-two-day tour with them. Everyone told her how much fun they had exploring outside the village. Vivi explains to you that traveling as a group is a much different experience than traveling alone. Vivi plans to bring more people with her on all her expeditions from now on. Hey wait a second, Vivi realizes that bringing inexperienced travelers means she has to take easier routes and have less risk of getting hurt; you're suggestion was just a clever way to keep her safe.
• Token of Love: Vivi has something to give to you, though it looks like you have something to give to her instead. Turns out you're giving each other the same thing! Whenever you talk about your travels, Vivi's heart races, though she wonders if there's more to it than her love of traveling. She hopes you can join her for a private chat next time you're in town.
• 6-note Event: Walk into Providence, where Vivi asks if you want to go for a walk. She takes you to the hill above town. Vivi says while she's been all over the world, she hasn't found a spot quite like this. Sometimes she gets homesick while exploring, feeling like she's alone, but now she thinks of you and isn't lonely anymore. Vivi hopes someday your relationship can become closer.

Westley

This young man is more serious with keeping an eye on the day-to-day operations of the town than his sister. Westley is stern and likes things run the way he thinks it should be run. His toughness is not appreciated by the residents. They're afraid to speak their minds in fear of what he might say or do in response.

Westley's Events

• 1-note Event: Walk into Providence to find Westley heading out to check on the fields and orchards. He tells you the story how his parents founded Providence to bring the displaced people together.
• 2-note Event: Go into Westley's house. He prepares you tea made from fruit and spring water produced in Providence. He thanks you again for revitalizing their town. Westley still feels bad for the spring drying up. He tried his own ways to revive the spring, but nothing worked. Since his family is responsible for the village's amenities, he should have been able to repair the spring himself. He feels like he failed and hopes the villagers still trust him to be their leader.
• 3-note Event: Inside her house, Vivi offers to give you a slice of Apple Pie she just finished baking. She admits she's envious of your friendship with her brother. Westley tends to not admit to others when he needs help, which gives the impression that he's very unapproachable. Westley then returns home and asks what you guys are chatting about. Vivi admits that the subject is him and requests to her brother that he doesn't scare his friend away. Westley is a bit confused, so after Vivi leaves, he asks what that was all about. After you explain Vivi's concerns, Westley explains that he doesn't want others to have doubts if they detect their leader is weak or worried. It's distracting for a leader to look like they're taking time to relax, though he'll consider your advice.
• 4-note Event: In Providence, Karla looks very worried. She accidentally cut an extra branch while pruning the apple trees. She's terrified that Westley is going to be mad! Westley shows up and asks what's wrong. You show him the branch. Surprisingly, Westley isn't angry at all! He says it was dangerous to cut a branch this large and is glad that nobody is hurt. Everyone makes mistakes; just be careful next time. Karla thanks you for the support. Turns out, she was worried for nothing! Westley admits to you that he's been making more of an effort to be a leader the village needs. You suggest a festival to celebrate the revival of the magic spring. He doesn't have much experience with such things. Westley hopes you can give him guidance.
• 5-note Event: Westley gathers everyone in the center of town. He is hosting a feast to celebrate the return of their magical spring, with you as the guest of honor! Tracey cooked a lot of meals to have at the party, though he was worried Westley would be angry for suggesting a party. Kate had the same thought. Westley tells them not to be worried about that. Even Vivi and Martha were worried about getting scolded, but feel that they've become a little bit closer to Westley while preparing for the party. Westley admits he should have asked others for help with fixing the magical spring instead of tackling the problem alone. He plans to become a more approachable leader.
• Token of Love: Westley is happy to accept anything you want to give. He's surprised that it is a love token. It's the greatest gift anyone has ever given him. He had planned to give you one too. Westley asks if you'd like to go out sometime, as he knows places in the village where people rarely go.
• 6-note Event: Westley wants to talk to you privately, and takes you to the magic spring area overlooking Providence. He comes here when he wants a break from the liveliness of the village. His parents had founded the town and had gone through a lot of hardships, but they always gave smiles and joy to everyone. Westley didn't realize how hard the job was until after his parents had passed away. He wonders if his parents struggled like he did and if they shared their concerns with the villagers. Looking back, Westley realizes how silly he was to try and do everything himself. He needs someone special to spend his life with. Whatever you decide, he will support you.
