Aolani
She likes to fish. A lot. She can tell you all sorts of facts about fish. Aolani is aware that not everyone else has the same level of interest in fish, and that assumption weighs on her self-confidence. She can become excited about a particular fish and tell you all about it, and then abruptly pause because she's afraid of becoming a nuisance.
Birthday: Winter 11
Good Gifts: Ahi Poke, Rare Fish Bait, Garnet
Aolani's Requests

- 1 Mushroom Stew = 10 Eggplant Seeds
- 2 Anchovy = 1 Rare Fish Bait

Aolani's Events
- 1-note Event: Enter Lilikala and you'll find Aolani fishing at the end of the Great Pier. She tells you all about sardines and invites you to have a fish-tasting session with her someday.
- 2-note Event: Walk into Aolani's house and see she's prepared some fish meals to show that the same fish can have different qualities and flavors. Aolani goes on to explain how the fattier fish will have a deeper flavor. She starts to go on a tangent about butter and toast when she catches herself rambling. All this food talk has made her hungry. She decides to eat the Grilled Fish with you.
- 3-note Event: Walk into the town of Lilikala and talk to Jason. He guessed you were looking for Aolani. She's been so happy to have someone around she can fish-chat with. Anyhow, Aolani headed inland to the Providence river. Back in Providence, Aolani complains that the fish aren't biting today. She apologizes for her talkative dad. He said what?! Oh dear, Aolani is embarrassed...
- 4-note Event: Aolani is talking with Kate at the end of the Great Pier. She hands Kate a Bluefish Tuna for the restaurant and begins to volunteer a lot of facts about the fish, but catches herself going into tangents again and apologizes. Aolani is embarrassed that you overheard the conversation; she regrets her chatter is boring to other people. You volunteer to be an open ear for Aolani for however long she wants to talk.
- 5-note Event: Aolani is sharing her fish at the end of the Great Pier again, accompanied by a long-winded speech about the nutritional value of sardines. She pauses once she realizes she's doing it again, but the response from the villagers is positive. They thank her for giving them a new way to cook the fish. Aolani apologizes for saying too much, but they don't mind! Keone tells her he learns a lot from listening to her. Aolani wonders if maybe she was worried about something that didn't exist. She thanks you for suggesting she say what's on her mind instead of stopping mid-way for fear of being a nuisance.
- Token of Love: Aolani is surprised at your gift. She's really happy! Aolani gives you a token too. She's been wanting to give it to you for a while. Maybe next time you can go to her favorite place together.
- 6-note Event: At the Great Pier, Aolani explains she has the urge to go somewhere private with you. She leads you to the dock south of town to look out on the ocean. Aolani admits she talks a lot, so she'd like to listen instead. You tell her about Lectenbury. Aolani wants to see it someday! She's full of questions; you see, she's been curious ever since her dad took her fishing for the first time when she was a kid. Aolani is just as excited to be with you as she was catching her first fish.
Kaimana

A fishing bait crafter, Kaimana never gave up on finding a way to return to the shores of his hometown. While the displaced villagers of Lilikala settled in Providence, Kaimana stayed behind to look for a way through the Harvest Sprite wall. He was still waiting on the outside when you found him fishing all alone. Kaimana starts to shine after returning to his home, looking for ways to improve gear and hooks.

- 2-note Event: Head to the end of the Great Pier. Kaimana suggests a contest to see who can catch the most fish. While waiting for a bite, you chit-chat about just learning to fish. He's impressed at your skill, as he admits he is terrible at catching fish compared to making fish tackle.
- 3-note Event: Walk into Lilikala and talk to Makoa. He admits that Kaimana has been talking about you a lot, like how great of a fisher you are and how much of an appetite you have for fish. Anyhow, Makoa tells you to head to the Great Pier if you're looking for Kaimana, where you find him talking with Mandy and Kenoe. They're describing a creepy sound they've heard around the pier. Kaimana volunteers to check into it. After they leave, Kaimana tells you the pier is closed while he looks into fixing the mysterious problem.
- 4-note Event: Kaimana found the problem with the pier and is eager to go collect materials to make the repairs. He looks like he hasn't rested in a while. You insist that he take a break. Kaimana apologizes for making you worry.
- 5-note Event: Back at the Pier, you see Kaimana has enlisted Zinnia to help with the pier repairs. Kaimana is rather proud of himself coming up with the idea to work together to finish the task instead of doing it by himself. He admits the forced-break you insisted on was the inspiration for this change. A few moments later and the project is complete. He invites you to go fishing using the new tackle he made just for you. Soon there is a bite, but his new tackle failed; everything broke and the fish got away.
- Token of Love: Kaimana asks if you have a moment because he has something he wants to give to you. Oh, you too?! You give each other the token. Kaimana hopes to invite you later to a spot with a good view of the sea.
- 6-note Event: Head to the Great Pier, where Kaimana asks if you want to go to his special place. He takes you to the end of the dock to the south of the Great Pier. He becomes nervous and doesn't know what to say. Kaimana explains that he wanted to break the wall and fix the village for years, but wasn't able to. Then you come along and manage to take out the Harvest Sprite wall, like a light that entered his world to guide him. Though he wonders what you see in a bumbling craftsman. After all, you're the savior of Lilikala!
