Cooking Recipes

Since the list of recipes in the kitchen is sorted based on what can be cooked, the below table lists the meal recipes by their encyclopedia entry. There are 141 meal recipes to collect in the base game, with another 20 recipes added via the New Crops, Fish, and Recipes DLC, for a total of 161 recipes.

The very last recipe in the encyclopdia is Baby Formula, which unlocks after your child is born (Yes, you have to get married if you want to complete the recipe encyclopedia).

While the cooked meals have an Ability rank like with crops and flowers, reaching the Master rank with a recipe does not unlock the cooked meal to purchase at shops.

Cooked meals can provide for stamina recovery and status effects, either a warm status (a fire icon) to protect from freezing weather, a chill status (a snowflake icon) to protect from scorching weather, or an energized status (a purple eye icon) to protect from the exhaustion that occurs when you stay awake for 24 in-game hours.

The default ingredients required to make a meal can often be substituted with other like-kind ingredients. You'll see a double-arrow icon on the ingredient when the item can be swapped with something else.
