Foraging
All around Anthos you'll find a variety of wild goodies to pick up off the ground. These items can be given as gifts, shipped to earn some money, or eaten to restore stamina. Some are used for completing Villager Requests.

After you find a wild item for the first time, you can use the DocPad's World Map to locate the item in all the areas of the world. A wild item will reappear at its spot after a few in-game days, which you can watch on the World Map to see when they're ready again. Generally, items will take between 2 and 6 days. For example, the ordinary Mushrooms will reappear after 2 days. Mussels will reappear after 3 days. Rarer mushrooms (Matsutake and all truffles) take 4 days to regenerate, and rarer shellfish (Oyster and Akoya Pearl) take the longest at 6 days.
When tracking a wild item on the World Map, zoom in on the tracked item icon to see how many are at that spot, indicated by the number of yellow dots on the icon. One dot means there is only one of that item, two dots indicates two, and three dots represents a group of three. Sometimes the dots are difficult to detect when the wild item is also yellow or white in color.
There aren't any Harvest Wisps hidden in the wild-found items.
Foraged food have between .5 and 2 hearts of stamina recovery. The more uncommon the item, the more hearts of stamina it can recover. The normal Mushroom recovers half a heart, while the uncommon Akoya Pearl Oyster can recover 2 hearts. There are more efficient stamina recovery options, such as cooked meals, though Mushroom will do in a pinch because of how plentiful they are throughout Anthos.
