Elise

This wealthy lady is the farm manager of Margaret Farm near Oak Tree Town. Her mansion and expansive ranch can be accessed by walking out of Oak Tree Town from the entrance by Raeger's restaurant. She has many workers who care for her crops and animals, while she spends her time supervising and giving instructions to her household staff.

Elise is not terribly interested in farming itself. You'll find that she's more interested in the income from farming rather than the heart and hard work put into developing a great ranch. You won't find her getting her hands dirty with planting crops or milking cows. That's what she has employees for! Elise has a better-than-you attitude and doesn't keep her opinions to herself.

Maybe you can convince her that running a farm requires more attention than what she's currently giving.

If you want to marry Elise, you must complete her five farm rival events: Farm Inspection 1, Farm Inspection 2, Cow Birth, Farm Inspection 3, and What a Farmer Should Be. Once the five rivalry events have finished, which requires you to be in Winter of year 2 or later for the last event, you can then start to trigger her flower events.

Chocolate Fondue = Flour + Strawberry + Cocoa Pack + Milk. You can learn the recipe by receiving Recipe Set #16 from winning the crop, fishing, or cooking festivals. You'll need to own the Basic Dessert Recipe set before it becomes available as a potential festival victory reward. Flour can be bought from Wheat Country for 450 G each, Strawberries are a Spring season crop, and Milk comes from your cows.

The sticking point is with the Cocoa Pack, which can only be crafted by placing Cocoa fruit in the Grinder maker machine within the Seasoning Shed. You have to grow the Cocoa fruit from a tree, as it cannot be picked up off the ground. The tree seedling is for sale late in the game at the Tropical Country Trade Depot vendor for 1500 G each. The other option is to present offerings to Dessie by tossing an item into her pond. Once you have given 75 gifts, Dessie will reward you with a single Cocoa fruit. You can then use the Seed Maker to create a seedling to plant.

Loved Gifts (+500 FP)

Making Cream Puff is not terribly difficult to make in your kitchen. The recipe can be purchased for Cabin Country for 1500 G and is simply Flour + Egg + Milk + Butter. You'll need to construct the Cheese Factory on your farm and use the Fermenter machine within it to combine milk and Oil to create Butter.

Other gifts that she likes are Golden Watermelon, Zebu Milk+, Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Cookies, Pink Diamond, Almond Pudding, Mango Ice Cream, and Mango Cake.

Liked Gifts (+300 FP)

The simplest items to give her are Bread (Recipe is Basic Starch Recipe Set from Silk Country for 1500 G) and tea tree leaves such as Spring Tea Leaves. She also appreciates Watermelon, Pineapple, and Melon; honey; gems such as Amethyst, Ruby, and Diamond; Pink and red flowers such as Carnation, Pink Rose, and Tulip; Drink category cooked recipes except for Grass Drink; Snack category cooked recipes except for vegetable-based dishes (Pumpkin Pudding, Vegetable Cake, etc.); and Golden Araucana Egg and Golden Silkie Eggs.

Elise also likes tree fruit. Otmar has Peach Seedlings for sale in his shop during your first Spring season. Other tree seedlings will become available through the Trade Depot vendors.

Flower Events

Elise is special in that she has two pink flower events. The other marriage candidates have their flower events at white, purple, yellow, and pink flower colors. With Elise, she has a blue flower event, a green flower event, a pink flower event, and then a second pink flower event.

Remember that flower events will trigger when you are at the required flower color or above the required color. By the time you're ready to trigger her flower events she might already be at a red flower color. You can still see her four flower events at a full bloom red flower color. You will not need to lower her friendship level.

After marriage, Elise will move into your house and gift the mansion to her servents. She will still travel to Margaret Farm to check up on things.

Elise is inside the library mumbling to herself how complex running a farm is when you walk in. She explains that she had been reading a book about farm management, and since then has changed her opinion on farms a little bit. She's even gone out and planted seeds rather than leaving it to everyone else. It was more work than she anticipated, but she enjoyed it more than she thought she would. Elise is looking forward to trying many tasks, but she doesn't know what yet. To find out she's been studying farm management. Elise figures you must find it amusing that she's just starting out with the basics; go ahead, laugh if you want!

  Perhaps, but Elise feels she hasn't really appeared as the head of household as well as the farm manager in front of her employees. She needs to be a role model for everyone who lives in the mansion.

  Elise suddenly gets a great idea. Why don't you teach her?! As a rancher, your knowledge is trust worthy, and it is her responsibility to be enlightened on farm management. You agree and the two of you start going over some books.

  Once you've finished, the two of you are happy. Elise is satisfied that she now understands better. If there's anything else she doesn't understand she'll let you know. She blushes and thanks you, but requests that you keep it a secret from the others in the mansion.

• Choice 2: I can teach you if you'd like

  Really?! In fact, she has been reading a book and there's a lot of it she doesn't understand. Elise would be grateful if you could help her, but requests that you keep it a secret from the others in the mansion. She feels she hasn't really appeared as the head of household as well as the farm manager in front of her employees.

  Once you've finished, the two of you are happy. Elise is satisfied that she now understands better. If there's anything else she doesn't understand she'll let you know. She blushes and thanks you, but reminds you to keep this to yourself.

  Oh, you really did laugh... even so, she's going to keep studying! Elise is furious with you and demands that you leave. After you escape from the wrath of Elise, she sadly admits to herself that she was hoping you would teach her.

Elise has her maid prepare the dress color that you have selected, and she requests you wait outside. When she's ready, you are brought back in the room and are asked what you think of the dress.

  Your compliment has really made her blush! Elise says that everyone just says that this outfit is cute, so your praise surprises her. It doesn't sound like mere flattery when it comes from you. Elise thanks you, but then catches herself and decides that this choice just isn't popular. She's going to take charge of the situation and tells you to leave so that she can change.

Elise has been keeping an eye on farm. She didn't expect that she'd enjoying watching her crops and animals grow. In fact, she wants you to meet her little cow. The two of you go over to check out one of her cows, which happens to be the cow that she had earlier witnessed being born. Now she can't keep her eyes off of it. She knew that she'd be different the moment she saw its birth, at least in her head she thought it. Now it's her priority to take care of this little cow.

Elise is grateful to you. Had you not made her witness the birth, she would of never changed. Elise has never had a friend like this little cow. Suddenly the cow does not look so well and collapses in front of you! Elise panics since this is the first time it has done this.

• Choice 1: Use Animal Medicine

  Result: +3000 FP with Elise

  You use the medicine and explain to Elise that when the animal feels bad that you should uses Animal Medicine. The little cow recovers quickly. Elise thanks you, as you knew what to do while she merely panicked. She likes you even more now!

  Elise wants to figure out why the cow took a turn for the worse, so she asks you to leave. After you go, Elise is disappointed in herself for freaking out. The cow doesn't seem to care and adores here anyway.

• Choice 2: Just watch

  Result: -3000 FP with Elise

  Elise is very worried and asks you to watch over the cow while she goes to get help.

  Afterward, Elise is relieved it was just because the cow had eaten too much. They were able to use medicine to help it feel better. Elise wonders if you had any medicine, since it is something that ranch masters shouldn't be without. She becomes irritated when she realizes that you simply decided not to use the medicine you had. You try to argue that she should of had some, but she reminds you that the cow has never been sick before!

  Elise apologizes for her behavior. Next time this happens she'll look it up in a book.

Iris reminder Elise of her sister; calm, beautiful, and talented. She's such a flawless person. Even her parents paid more attention to her sister than they did towards her. Iris is the same way, so naturally those around Iris adore her. That's just how it is. Elise asks what you think.

  So you are the same way... Elise looks annoyed, but she isn't bothered enough to break up with you. You better make your best efforts to ensure that Elise doesn't hate you, but she won't make it easy for you! It is too late to say that you were just kidding. You give her a kiss, but that just embarrasses her. This isn't the time or place for that! Elise's feelings are really hurt.

• Choice 2: Elise is a good person too.

  Oh yes, you are her boyfriend after all; of course you'd say that she's better than her sister. You convince her that your opinion is genuine. She tells you that your taste in woman isn't all that bad. Elise feels that you're great, even though you are strange, and tells you that she loves you. As she turns to leave, she thanks you and reminds you how happy you've made her.
