Laura works every non-festival day at the Olive Town tourist center near the tourist boat dock. She's often the first person that tourists meet when they arrive by boat to Olive Town. Laura is well-versed in the local sights, such as the scenic view that overlooks the ocean or the best foodie spots in town, and loves showing off her town. Her dad, Norman, runs the local grocery store where she'll help out from time to time. Her mom, Sydney, works as a lawyer in the city and is only around on Mondays.

Schedule: Laura keeps to her same schedule every day (except festival days), even if the weather is stormy.

You can stay inside of the Grocery Store until 12:00 am.

Laura will continue to work at the tourist center when you marry her. She'll start her morning inside of the farmhouse, but then leaves at 7:00 am to head into town. Sleeping past 7:00 am means you won't see her in the mornings! Laura will then return to the farmhouse around 7:30 pm.

Ah, just the farmer Jacopo was hoping to see! Could you lend an ear?

Well, either way, Jacopo dropped his wallet in the ocean and needs your help looking for it. He mistook it for a banana peel, somehow. As expected, he makes you do all the work by swimming out into the ocean to retrieve his lost wallet. However, you start drowning!

Jacopo runs and gets Laura, who pulls you to shore. She explains that the rip currents in this area are powerful. Luckily for Jacopo, she found his wallet. Unluckily for him, she starts to chew him out.

By the tourist center, Laura is welcoming some visitors that just arrived to Olive Town. After the tourists leave to head into town, she asks how you thought she looked when on the job.

Still, there's a lot Laura wants to improve on. For instance, she wants to put up promotion posters. A whole lot of them! Though, options for locations are limited. Talking to you has given Laura has an idea!

The two of you see Jason at the Gull's Rest Hotel. She asks Jason to put some posters up to advertise the town... 50 of them should be enough! Wowzers! Shocked, Jason asks how the posters will help get more tourists since the people who will see them are already in town. Oh yea, Laura realizes her great idea isn't as great as she thought it was.

Laura is complaining to Misaki about her troubles with tourists. Misaki tells her that's how people are, and Laura says she hates people. You walk in, and Misaki tells you to be a shoulder for Laura to cry on. Laura says she isn't crying - just venting to anyone who will listen - and Misaki walks off to make Laura's coffee.

Laura asks what you think of her.

Misaki comes back, telling you two that you should get a meal while you're here. Laura tells her not to push you two into a date. Misaki tells her that you two are good for each other, and Laura tells her to stop joking.

Laura asks for your help picking up a shipment at the port. Normally her dad would help, but he threw out his back and can't carry the shipment. The two of you go off and get the shipment. After collecting the goods, Laura has an idea. This may be a perfect opportunity to advertise the store! Laura already created promotional flyers to hand out. You offer to help her, and you two pass out flyers for a while.

Afterward, she apologizes for taking up so much time. Why did you help, anyway?

She thanks you, as you were a huge help!

Laura asks why you're here, and you tell her you're here to see her. She's on the job right now, picking up trash. It looks like she was spacing out as though she had something on her mind. Laura admits that she's been thinking about it a lot lately. More tourists are good, but it means more trash lying around. She loves the ocean and wants to share those feelings, but the beaches always get trashed. You offer to help her, and the two of you finish the job.

Laura spots something in the water and goes to get it before telling you to join her. She asks if you like the ocean, and you nod. She says that you two have more in common than she thought.

Laura is glad to see you've stopped by for a visit. She's helping her dad with the store today. He woke up with a fever this morning, and even though he says he's okay, Laura wants to keep an eye on him. Besides, the tourists will be fine if she takes the day off from the tourist center.

Norman walks over and tells Laura that he's fine now. His fever has reduced after he's slept for a bit. Besides, he has a food delivery that he wants her to take to Mayor Victor. Laura asks him to take it easy before she heads out to the mayor's house.

After she leaves, Norman explains that he's always been in poor health, but he's been doing better since moving to Olive Town. He hates being a burden to Laura. He also thanks you, as his family is important to him. Laura is the best daughter a dad could ask for!
