Chen
Chen and his son, Charlie, closed up their popular shop in the city and happened to land on the island the day after you arrive. Since the new community will be in need of a supermarket, Chen decides to start a new store on the island.
The shopkeeper is the person you want to befriend in order to get the horse. Talk to Chen ever day when he's inside his shop, and on Fridays you can give him a gift since he does not work behind the shop counter on that day. On Fridays, Chen leaves the island to restock the items in his shop and does not return until 3:00 pm.
