Kai Appears

As you walk up the path towards the forge, you overhear Popuri and Mei talking to an unfamiliar face. They are excited because Kai's return to Mineral Town means summertime will soon begin. Kai tells them that he'll be opening the Beach Cafe in two days (Summer 2). Popuri and Mei are looking forward to it!

After the girls leave, Kai introduces himself to you. He doesn't remember seeing you in Mineral Town last year. He invites you to stop by his cafe for a bite of tasty food he will have for sale.

Since Summer 1 is the Fetch Fest, Kai's Beach Cafe will not open until Summer 2.
