House Upgrades
When you move into grandpa's farm, the cozy little farmhouse will suit your needs just fine. It has a bed, a calendar, a diary to save your progress, and even handy storage for keeping your tools and nonperishable items safely tucked away. There's a free old TV too! And when you feel like changing your clothes, the magical mirror can help you pick the perfect outfit in a non-judgmental way.
After a bit, you may feel that you'd like a little bit more room to stretch out. The little house doesn't have much free space for anything else but the basics, and you'd like a homecooked meal every so often! Luckily, there's a nearby carpenter that can help you with your tiny house dilemma.
A Slightly Bigger House
Gotts the carpenter lives in the forest south of your farm. He can be commissioned to expand your farmhouse to be slightly bigger. To take on this job, Gotts will require you to bring him 150 Lumber, 50 Material Stone, and 3000 G. Lumber can be collected by cutting branches and stumps with your axe, and Material Stone is made by smashing rocks and boulders using your hammer. He'll be inside your house the day after you hire him, pounding your walls with his tools for the next 3 days.
After he's finished, your farmhouse will be a big bigger! The table has expanded to four chairs. Gotts also includes a kitchen with his upgrade, but you'll need to buy the Refrigerator and the cooking utensils separately. Gotts will also sell a Big Fridge and a Big Cabinet for 5000 G each. He'll offer even larger storage - the Deluxe Fridge and the Deluxe Cabinet - for 10,000 G each three days after you buy the Big versions.
Window Customization
Gotts will now offer window customization, for when you feel you'd like to freshen the exterior look of your farmhouse. You can swap to another type of window at any time, but each of the three variations will cost 200 Lumber, 150 Material Stone, and 25,000 G.

Big House
By and by you may feel that you need a little more space. Gotts offers one last farmhouse remodel at his Workshop. The materials needed to construct the Big House are 600 Lumber, 250 Material Stone, and 10,000 G. After Gotts pounds your farmhouse walls again, he'll leave you with extra space to the left of the kitchen area.
Your house is now large enough for space next to your bed for your future farmily's bed. The bigger bed fits next to your existing bed, bringing two separate beds into your house. You can also get a large Rug under your dining table once you have this house upgrade, all the cooking utensils, the Clock, and the Fridge.
House Customization
With the Big House comes some new options from Gotts for customizing the interior and exterior of the farmhouse. You can now change the interior wallpaper, interior flooring, and the exterior mailbox. The wallpaper and flooring cost 1000 G each and no materials. Each mailbox customization option requires 150 Lumber, 50 Material Stone, and 10,000 G.
