Mountain Patrol

Harris has stopped by to visit Gotts. Harris tells Gotts that the town is peaceful today, and Gotts replies that there's nothing wrong in the mountain area too. Harris apologizes to Gotts because he should be the one to patrol the mountains. Gotts tells him that it is okay that he takes care of it, as he is more familiar with the area. Harris still feels guilty about it and reminds Gotts that it has been a long time since Gotts' wife and daughter died on the mountain.

Gotts knows it has been a while. There's no way to bring them back, but perhaps if he continues to patrol the mountain, his family can rest in peace. He's sure that they would be happy if he was the one watching over the mountain.
