Carter
The town priest makes himself available to the villagers of Mineral Town, listening to their troubles and offering comfort when needed. When talking to Carter in the church, he may give interesting fables and outcomes, some a bit odd or morbid. Though he has a strange way of getting his point across, his heart is in the right place.
Carter's church has two extra doors inside. The left door leads to his confessional booth, where you can privately admit to wrongdoings that are weighing on your conscious. The right door is typically locked, as it leads to the forested area behind the church. Carter tends to keep that area all to himself, as he doesn't have much in the way of personal belongings, but he will share it with you when you have earned his friendship. He thinks there may be some magical little sprites living near the hidden forest.
As Carter would say, you cannot force relationships with other people to happen; what matters most is devoting yourself earnestly to the people you value.
Birthday: Autumn 20
Schedule: For most of the week, Carter stays in the area of the church. The church unlocks its door at 9:00 am. He'll stay indoors until 1:00 pm, when he stands outside the church doors to watch over Mei and Yu. Carter returns to the church at 4:00 pm.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and on rainy or snowy days, Carter stays inside and visits the church's confessional booth at 1:00 pm. He'll wait there for you to talk to him, and perhaps have a little nap, until 4:00 pm.
