Lou
Lou runs the Mitemi Inn in Forgotten Valley with her spouse, Tum. She will start to visit Mineral Town on Sundays after you have offered a total of 75 gifts to the Harvest goddess. When you talk to Lou, she will offer to teach you cooking recipes from her lovely valley.
Her name in the Harvest Moon series was Ruby.
In the original GBA game, Lou would only appear on Sundays when players used the GBA-to-Gamecube link cable accessory to communicate with their copy of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for Gamecube. FoMT would connect to AWL for Boy, and MFoMT would connect to AWL for Girl. After connecting the two games together, Lou would appear in the GBA games to teach the player some recipes for their game. Since the GBA game allowed players to freely experiment when cooking, Lou's recipes could be recorded in the cookbook without needing to unlock her in the GBA game.
