Mugi
Mugi manages the livestock ranch in Mineral Town. He sells cows, sheep, and alpacas that you can raise on your own farm. He's been ranching for a long time! Mugi is also in charge of the annual animal festivals. If you want your contest entry to be selected as the grand-prize winner, you better impress master-rancher Mugi.
His own daughter, Joanna, left Mineral Town a long time ago. She came back with her own daughter after being away for 10 years, but it was just to drop off little Mei with grandpa Mugi. Joanna quickly left town after that. Mugi is disappointed at Joanna for abandoning Mei, but he keeps his frustrations with Joanna secret from the little girl. Even if Joanna ever came back to Mineral Town for Mei, Mugi intends to refuse to let Mei go.

Schedule: From Tuesday until Sunday, Mugi can be found at Yodel Ranch, whether outside (until 8:00 am) or inside the shop.
The shop is closed on Mondays. Mugi leaves his ranch at 8:00 am to visit Mayor Thomas' house at 9:20 am. He'll stay at Thomas' until 1:00 pm. He'll then appear at the Hot Spring at 2:00 pm, stay there until 4:00 pm, and then head back to Yodel Ranch. If it is rainy on Monday, he'll return home directly from Thomas' house.
