Winter Season Festivals and Events
Winter 04 - Snow Festival
This is one of the last festivals you'll unlock, as it requires you to have 23 or more villagers living in Echo Village. Meet with Dunhill at the festival grounds between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Everyone will gather together to build a snow monument and then eat Stew. The size of the snow sculpture will depend on the number of villagers that you have at least 2000 Friendship Points with:
- 0 or 1 villager: snowman
- 2 to 10 villagers: an animal
- 11 to 20 villagers: Pegasus
- 21 or more: snow shrine
You'll earn 1000 Friendship Points with the villagers and return to your farmhouse at 4:00 pm.

Winter 14 - Winter Harmony Day
This festival is available from the beginning of the game. It will be different depending on your character's gender.
If you are a Boy:
On this day you will receive gifts from the bachelorettes but only if you gave gifts to them on Spring 14. Walk into your house to trigger a harmony gift event. The girl will randomly give you a chocolate dessert, such as Chocolate Pudding, Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Fondue, and so on. If the girl wasn't unlocked and gift-able on Spring 14, then she won't be there to return a gift on Winter 14. You need to have room in your Rucksack for the chocolate gifts.
- 8:00 am to 9:30 am: Tina
- 9:30 am to 11:00 am: Iroha
- 11:00 am to 12:30 pm: Yuri
- 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm: Felicity
- 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm: Michelle
- 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm: Witch Princess
This festival changes again after you have are going steady with a girl or are married. You will still receive visits from the other girls, but your sweetheart won't be there during her designated time. Instead, enter your house between 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm to have a dessert date with her. The same reciprocal rule applies as well; no gift for her on Spring 14, then no special dessert for you on Winter 14.
You will receive +2000 FP with each girl who celebrates with you.
If you are a Girl:
Today you will give gifts to the bachelors. The appropriate harmony gifts are all chocolate desserts: Soft Chocolates, Chocolate Fondue, Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Pudding, Chocolate Cookie, or Chocolate Ice Cream. If you don't have any desserts to make, you can always buy Cocoa Packs at Hana's shop for 1000 G each and give those as Harmony Day gifts instead. You will earn +1000 FP for giving a Harmony Day gift to a male marriage candidate.
Giving gifts on this day will ensure that you receive gifts on Spring 14.
Winter 18 - Sheep Festival
This festival becomes available after you own a sheep. Neil sells sheep starting from Fall 1 of year 1 or starting after you've unlocked Yuri.
On the day of the festival, talk to Dunhill at the festival grounds to select the sheep you want to use and the class you want to enter. You can't enter a baby, pregnant, or sick sheep, and it doesn't matter if the sheep has its wool or if it is clean-shaven. You will have a better chance of winning if:
- You enter a sheep with a lot of Friendship Points (hearts)
- The sheep has zero stress
- You brushed your sheep that morning so it is clean
- You enter a Suffolk Sheep instead of a normal white Sheep
- The sheep can produce more than 1 wool when sheered
- (Advanced class only) The sheep can produce "Great" quality products
For the Beginner and Intermediate class, you can win simply based on the number of Friendship Points the sheep has. You'll win the Beginner class at 361 Friendship Points (3.5 hearts = 350 FP) and the Intermediate class at 9 hearts. But for the Advance class, you'll need 10 hearts and some of the factors listed above. The other judgement factors affect the lower classes as well; for example, if you enter a white Sheep into the Beginner class that only has 3 hearts but 0 stress, then you still have a chance of winning the festival.
If your sheep is judged to be the winner, you will receive a standard festival prize and +1000 FP with the villagers. You'll still get +1000 FP just for participating in the festival.
Winter 19 - Yuri's Birthday

Easy Good Gifts (+2000 FP): Cotton Fabric, Herb Tea, flower bouquets, colored down, colored cloth, Linen
Winter 25 - Starry Night
When you awake on the morning of the 24th, you can choose to participate in Starry Night. If you do, then you can select the name of the marriage candidate that you'd like to go stargazing with. You don't have to run around, trying to track down the person you want to invite; the game does everything for you.
On the 25th, enter your house between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm to celebrate the evening with your chosen marriage candidate. The two of you will go to the top of the mountain and watch the stars. You'll even be prompted to choose a romantic response to the conversation. After watching the stars, you'll walk your date back to her house (if you're a boy) or be walked back to your house (if you're a girl).
If you have a sweetheart on the 24th, then you won't be prompted to choose the person you'd like to watch the stars with. You will meet with your beloved by going into your house between 7 and 9pm, and you'll even get a kiss during the event. The same thing occurs if you're married.
You will earn +2000 FP with your Starry Night date, whether you are single or have a boyfriend or girlfriend.
