Amir

Prince Amir comes from a far away country. He and his comrade, Sanjay, have been looking for inspiration and ways to better their own homeland. Although Amir is 12th in line to the throne, he still is dedicated to helping his beloved country as much as he possibly can.

Every Fall 1, Amir returns to his home country to tend to his royal duties. He leaves Sanjay behind to care for the mansion, and then returns to his home. On Winter 1 he will visit your farmhouse to tell you he has returned. If you marry Amir, he will stay during Fall.

Amir and Sanjay unlocks together after you have built the Exotic Mansion, which requires 260 Material Stone, 120 Lumber, 10 Gold (ore), 6 Adamantite, and 5 Mithril. You can buy the blueprint from Rebecca once you begin Town Renovation Plan 5, which is the last and most complicated of Dunhill's plans. If you build the Exotic Mansion during the fall season, Amir won't appear until Winter 1.

Amir and Sanjay are enjoying the view from the top of the mountain. They are glad they chose this beautiful town as their subject of study. Amir notices you down by the Harvest Goddess' pond and Sanjay suggests that they go talk to you, since you are the central figure in the town expansion. Amir says he'll go talk to you alone, and instructs Sanjay to stay where he is.

Amir walks down to you and complements on how impressive your work has been. The two of you are about the same age, after all. Amir asks you what you think the most important thing is when making a town.

Option 1: Advanced modernization

Amir is surprised by your response. He seems sad to learn that you're trying to modernize the village. He won't tell you what's on his mind, and excuses himself and returns to Sanjay. Amir thought maybe the two of you shared the same ideals, but apparently he was mistaken.

Amir is glad that you take nature and the environment into account when building a town, instead of just focusing on making it a convenient place. Sanjay welcomes you to the mansion and takes you to greet Amir. After Sanjay leaves, you and Amir sit down for some tea. Amir tells you that he has a younger sister that he wants to send a present to. He and Sanjay are not good with choosing gifts, and so he was hoping he could have your opinion on what is a good present a woman would like.

Option 1: An ore pendant from town

That's a great idea! Amir thinks a pendant made from an ore he minded himself would be the best gift. You tell him the best spots to mine for gems, since he doesn't know the mine very well. Amir thanks you for giving him the advice and hopes that you'll visit again.

You think she'll like some normal stones? Amir isn't impressed with your suggestion, and blames himself for not thinking of a suitable gift. He'll try to figure it out himself. Amir calls for Sanjay and tells him to escort you out of the house.

An elderly man has come to visit Amir. He had heard rumors that Amir has been dating a local woman, yet Amir refuses to cooperate with his questioning. Now that you have arrived, the man asks if you have heard anything about it.

It is you?! The old man explains that in the past, Amir has claimed to be dating someone but it was never true. This time it appears to be real, and the old man apologizes to the prince. Amir tells him that it is the truth this time, and tells the elderly man that because of it, he can't accept the elderly man's offer. The elderly man understands and says you are a beautiful young woman. Then he asks that you take care of their prince before he leaves.

Amir explains that the elderly man was there to set an arranged marriage for him. Amir had always lied about dating someone because he was avoiding the arrangement, so naturally his story wasn't believed this time either. He apologizes for putting you in this situation, but is very happy that you came out and told the elderly man that you were officially together. You were so proud and defiant! As his thanks, Amir takes you out on a date.

It sounds like they're... going home tomorrow!! You burst through the door and startle the two men. Amir asks you what's wrong and Sanjay offers you something to drink.

  Sanjay realizes that you overheard what they were saying. There isn't any plans for Amir to return home though. Sanjay explains they were talking about Amir's cousin having given birth to her son, so Sanjay was suggesting that Amir write a congratulations note to her. Since Amir isn't going home, Sanjay had suggested that he write the letter tomorrow, not that Amir is going home tomorrow!
  
  Amir tells you that even if he has to leave for awhile, you will always be waiting for him to return. Some day he would like you to go back with him so you can meet his parents.
