Dunhill is the first person you'll meet when you arrive in Echo Village. He is a friend of your parents and was aware that you were arriving because they sent him a letter. Dunhill helps you with basic farming instructions, explains the problem with the town, and eventually comes up with a great idea to have you rebuild Echo Village.

He has lived in various places before settling in Echo Village, where he became the de-facto leader of town. Dunhill likes to capture the serenity of the town and its residents by using his picture camera and film camera. He hopes that one day Echo Village will be popular and lively again.
